What pleases us most are the lacemakers and collectors who come back for the next bobbin, and the bobbins worked and kept for years. That is the sign that craft and care are worth something.

We are a small workshop turning lace bobbins by hand. To us a bobbin is more than a turned stick: turned, named and spangled by hand, it works well on the pillow, it holds a keepsake and it is kept for years. That is what our work is about.

We make each bobbin to suit. The wood, the pattern and the spangle all matter. We advise and make what suits the lacemaker or the keepsake, honestly and without fuss.
